The NEW Locinox Eightylock
Insert locks have seen a surge in popularity with many higher quality, secure locks now available, offering a high quality alternative to the popular bolt on locks, and in the case of Locinox an alternative to the LAKQ industrial gate lock which continues to be a great option for both new and existing gates.
Insert locks tend to be used in the manufacturing of new gates, providing a discreet, secure locking option that improves the security of both domestic gates and industrial. Where the Forty, Fifty and Sixtlock have really taken off for domestic applications, especially with many new gates manufactured using 40mm or 50mm steel box sections, there has been a need for a lock specifically designed for thicker profiles, and the Eighty lock has provided the perfect solution.
With a 60mm backset the Eightlylock has been designed for applications using a steel box section or timber frame of 80mm or more. The Eightylock has a stainless steel mechanism and a 21mm throw of a robust stainless steel security hook with the lock easily changed to suit left or right handed gates.
Compatible with any Europrofile cylinder multiple locks can be keyed alike, and the 10mm adjustment of the latch bolt allows you to make slight adjustments on the latching to ensure a smooth locking every time.
The Eightylock has been tested to 500,000 cycles and comes with a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
As with all Locinox products they are compatible with several access control components meaning this lock can be used together with the Modulec-SF electric keep and blocking handle set to provide an access control system to improve security on domestic and industrial applications.
